I am trying to decide between Vassar and Wesleyan for ED. I plan on majoring in Philosophy or Political Science, maybe the film studies program. At the moment, Wesleyan is edging out for me because of their awesome music scene. Do I have a chance ED?

It’s impossible to say. Admission to a place like Wesleyan is always very chancey. No one here is on the Adcom and you will be compared with about 900 other applicants, most of whom have not even applied yet.

I had really similar numbers and was accepted, but I think Wesleyan has gotten a bit tougher to get into each year. Since you’re a guy, Vassar should be a match/safety. I’d apply regular there, since you’ll still have a good chance of admission. ED would give you an edge at Wesleyan, or other schools that are more of a reach. Good luck!

FWIW, I also got into (and chose to attend) Tufts, which I loved and would highly recommend to you!
