Chance me? I'll chance back! 3.6UW GPA, Native American?

I am a certified Abenaki Native American (I am also causcasion). I am a rising junior and I had a rough start to high school- I was diagnosed with ADD (though I will not emphasize that on my apps). I will be able to raise my GPA to a 3.6UW cumulative GPA (freshman year, sophomore year, and junior year combined) before applying to colleges. I have 1000+ combined hours of community service from volunteering at a soup kitchen and a nursing home. For over a year I have worked 20 hours a week at a grocery store and I also petsit (saving for college). I have a successful website (an online interactive community for bullied teens: I was bullied though I am not going to emphasize this in my application).
AP classes start junior year at my school- I have taken honors classes. I will take AP English next year and I'm going to take the AP U.S. History exam, though I'm taking Honors U.S. History. Senior year I will take AP Gov, AP Stats, AP Spanish, AP Bio, and AP Lit, as well as AP Art.
On the June SAT, I received around a 2200 but I have confidence that I will be able to raise my scores with enough practice. I will likely do well on the US History subject test and I received a 760 on the Math I.
My parents and siblings have attended state schools, though my uncle attended Cornell as an English major. My grandmother always talked with me and she was certain I would one day study at Cornell too. I would like to apply as a psychology major. What would my chances be? I understand they may not be great considering my GPA stinks on ice.

Cornell - low reach

Cornell: low reach (high match if you ED-ed there)

Cornell is a low reach. But you seem to have a legacy going on which moves it to high match and I’d guarantee your acceptance because your Native American haha. So you probably have a very large edge.

Thanks guys! bump

Your GPA isn’t great…but you make up for it in a lot of other areas.
I’d say its a low-mid reach.

Best of luck!

thanks any other opinions?

BUMP please

Yep, basically I would suggest try getting that GPA up as everyone else said!

Chance me

I would say the GPA hinders you a bit, but if you can raise that, Cornell is probably a low reach. Your ECs are good and your SAT scores are as well. Good luck!

Chance me back please? Thanks! http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1527858-chance-me-harvard-yale-etc-will-chance-back.html

Hello teenbodybuilder, vgeagle, SaraCo, and collegeluva101,

As a new member, I was just wondering - how did you all link your own threads by title in your post?

Do you have to copy a URL? Seems like a handy tool to learn.

Educate me, thanks.

when you copy and paste the link it comes up like that

@thegahndi, Lol, I was confused as well when I was a new member, but you literally just copy the link of your thread and the website will automatically make title the link with the title of your thread.

I can’t get my GPA higher than a 3.6UW: I specifically said if I get straight A’s next year (junior year), I will be able have to have 3.6UW max when applying to college.

Raise your GPA and I say your a match esp if you apply ED

gahhh @notmeantforivy we posted at the same time. i love how there’s a mini discussion occurring on my thread :p

My bad, I did not see the GPA part. Just ignore that tidbit of my advice then, lol.

So do I still have a good chance? Bump

Ah, I see.
Appreciate the insight.

Take classes in the summer?
Junior to Senior Year.

Raise the GPA
