USC (merit aid): match
Claremont McKenna: in

Stanford: well stanford is obviously hard to get into, so its hard to judge, but you have as good of a shot as anyone, your stats are way impressive… please chance me back for the university of tulane!

you have really good scores gpa and ecs those will def help you out a lot i would say that you have a decent shot at all of them stanfords a toss up for almost everyone though but you will definatly get into 5+ of your choices good luck

I’m most interested in UCLA and UC Berkeley, and for Occidental and USC I’m hoping I could get some significant scholarships. Do you guys think that the latter wish is plausible?
(If you want me to chance you, please link to your thread).

http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1114972-chance-tulane-university-please.html

i’m not a 100% positive, but you definitely have a shot at getting scholarships. your stats kind of rock.

UC Berkely and UCLA are matches dont worry about it

Also, just out of boredom, can you chance me for the Ivies? I’m not actually planning on going to any of them, and I probably won’t even apply. My dad is a legacy at Cornell, if that means anything (I have a very strong legacy at Cornell).

You definitely have a good chance of making all the colleges your listed except for Stanford. As for the Ivies, it really might depend on what you’re majoring in and what school you apply to. You definitely have a good chance for Cornell. HYP are all unpredictable though.

Chance me?

http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1117134-chance.html

I’m sorry I’m not much help but I can help for Occidental. That’s one of the colleges I want to go to but it’s a reach for me. My cousin is a freshman there this year and she got a 1900 on the SAT I and probably about a 3.75 unweighted GPA and not as many extracurriculars as you so you’re in.

UCLA: Match (I know people with a 1900 that got in but they also had a higher GPA than you)

Please chance me!: http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1117010-please-chance-me-marist-uh-manoa-pratt-occidental-ucsc-cal-state-san-marcos.html

i think you have a great chance at all. stanford may be a little harder but still a good chance! CHANCE ME BACK!

oh. and idk how to post a link to my forum but mine is right below urs. so chance me back please!

You would definitely be competitive at Cornell. All the schools- save Stanford, which is a reach for anyone- you listed are matches/high matches. Your stats are right on track for these schools, so it will come down to the subjective stuff. Good luck!

Chance back? http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1116167-what-my-chances-northwestern-syracuse-etc.html

UCLA - high match (60-70%)
UC Berkeley - high match (60-70%)
UCSD - match (70-80%)
USC (merit aid) - high match (55-65%)
Claremont McKenna - low match (80-85%)
Pomona - high match (60-70%)
Occidental (merit aid) - match (65-75%)
Stanford - high reach (15-25%)

I don’t know much about california schools but your stats are very impressive!

Good chance at basically all except Stanford. However, I’d try getting so more awards down? It will definitely strengthen your application.

Well, possibly add Founder and President of the Model UN club. Would that help? xD

Stanford is AT LEAST a mid-reach for everybody… it’s just one of those schools, but I think if you write a standout personal statement or essay you’ll bolster your chances quite a lot.

You’ve got a lot to offer the UC’s: San Diego is almost a certainty, Berkeley still solid and UCLA is fickle, but you can get in there with your stats.

Oxy and Pomona, you should be in. Claremont is a low reach or high target.

USC… hmmm. I think you’ll definitely be in, but I can’t speak as to merit aid. Good luck with it though!

Chance me? http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1118399-chance-theatre-acting-inclined-junior-ill-chance-you-back.html#post12333784

UCLA - high match
UC Berkeley - high match
UCSD - match
USC - match
Stanford - you never really know do you? lol

Does it help for CMC if you are leader of two clubs you start?

As someone who was accepted to UCLA, UC Berkeley, UCSD, and Claremont McKenna, I’d say your chances are pretty decent for all of those schools, especially UCSD. The fact that you founded the linguistics club will score you major marks for CMC.

In terms of Ivies, your application seems a little lackluster in the “wow” factor. You should be competitive in terms of Cornell, especially with the legacy status, though don’t bank on that. Cornell also had the highest admissions rate (18%) of all the Ivies this year - in fact, it was the only Ivy that had higher than a 10% rate. CMC’s acceptance rate was 14% in comparison.

You should know though, that the 5th grade CTY thing won’t count at all.
