I don’t know how much of a factor costs are for you, but OSU and OU would be financially viable for most. OSU would be a reach school, but a really good essay could perhaps tip the balance there. Purdue is probably your least likely, the rest are about average chances, EC, essay, and letters of rec-dependent.

You’re ACT is a little low; 26 is below the 50% at some of those places. Wisconsin, Purdue, Ohio State, and Syracuse might give you trouble with that. However, you have the diversity card, the EC’s and what looks like a decent course load and identity to get across to the ADs. You’ll probably get into most of the schools you listed (unless there’s something we don’t know ).

I agree that you have to work on your ACT. Say you get a 30, these school might all work for you. I think compared with school work, standardized tests is easier to boost. Syracuse might be a little harder though.

If you work on your ACT you shouldn’t have a problem. Focus on your essays and if there is a particular reason for your relatively low GPA, mention that?
