All of these schools are reaches. I think you are depending on your race/low income to get you in. These aspects have pull, but they are not admissions letters. You will not be admitted to HYPS, Berkeley, or UCLA (Cals don’t take race into account.) Maybe you have a shot at the others. Good Luck and sorry for the bad news. I’m also in a low income situation, so I know it’s hard to get good grades with these difficulties. Apply to some state schools.

University of Arizona-you’ll get in here

Your essay can only save u… :(

Aside from Arizona, you are looking at really slim odds at most of the schools on your list:

Yale
Princeton
Harvard
Brown
Stanford
UCLA
UC Berkeley
St. John’s
Bowdoin College
Pitzer College
University of Arizona-safety

You typically need higher scores than yours, higher grades, better rank, nice ECs, and something special that stands out. Your essays do need to be great, but you need to look at a different set of schools where you stand a better shot, unless your grades get much better. Good luck :)

Please chance back

u have achance at st.johns i thikn and UA is a definite.

everything else is either i dont know about or u dont hhave a chance(reach likeothers said)

You’ll only get into Arizona.
(:

UofA has a high acceptance rate, but only for residents, in fact if your an out of state student, and you haven’t applied yet, you may not get in. (At least thats what the UofA rep. said last week, perks of being an AZ resident. -.-) They hugely favor us in-state kids, much like Cali. The other schools seem like a major reach, improve your scores, and that might give you an edge, that and get a job somewhere super prestigious or something along those lines. What makes you want to come to Arizona? Just a question. haha

^Actually, I live in Arizona. It’s more like: I want to come BACK to Cali, since I was born there and love it so much!

Ahhh, gotcha, then you’ll get into uofa for suuure. Haha, you’ve got no course work deficiencies and you’re in the top 30 percent of your class. If you want cali, try the University of San Diego, or Humboldt, those are schools in your academic range.
