I'm going to be a senior in high school next fall and just getting ready to start applying for colleges soon. I just want to know what schools I have a realistic chance of getting into and which ones I don't. Any opinion is much appreciated, thanks.

if money is an issue those out of state schools wont give you much if any aid to come to them even if you manage to get accepted. Your SAT scores a pretty decent, but realistically with your GPA I would have to say your best bet would be Penn State, that might even be a low reach, sorry. try to bring your GPA up your senior year and test again, Good Luck!

Well, ^^^ that’s way too pessimistic! You have the equivalent of a 27 ACT so I can guarantee you’d get in to UA, UTenn, and USCarolina. I don’t know anything about Ohio State, Penn State, or WVU but I’m sure you can look on their websites and see where you fall. Its a good thing money’s no object because you might not get much aid. You’d probably get a little (half or less tuition) from UA. Try to raise that SAT/ACT and more will come.

I’m 100% sure you’ll be accepted to the ones I mentioned so don’t sweat it.
