To strenthen your chances at all of the above, definately work on improving ACT/SAT scores. You have some good leadership and ECs.

I think you’ve got your bases covered, it’s really about luck at this point! I think you have a good chance, but you never know! My cousin was accepted to Columbia, Cornell, and UPenn, but rejected from Yale… Good luck!

BUMP… I’d like some more opinions, if possible! I’ll chance back, i promise!
Thanks!
And does anyone think that UPenn CAS ED is going to help my chances there??

Thanks

ED will definitely help your chances at UPenn. I think the ED acceptance is around 30% as opposed to the 14% for RD (You might want to check that)

Your ECs are great. They show leadership, athletics, service, academic excellence, etc. Everything you need. Your essay sounds fantastic. If you can turn that into a real tear jerker, you’ll really be helping your chances.

Your test scores a different story. If there’s anything that’s going to stop you from getting into some these schools, it’s probably going to be them. They are simply too low for the top schools on your list. I’d consider getting a tutor and just really bunkering down and studying because it’s just the reading section that is getting you.

Your other, smaller, problem is your course load. It’s good that you’ve been doing alot of honors classes, but I really wish you had taken some more AP classes. Considering your great AP test scores and your heavy senior course load, I don’t think this will hurt you too much, however.

Just make sure you don’t let this sudden amount of AP classes overwhelm you. You have a solid GPA right now, and all these APs offer a chance to really raise your weighted average.

Overall, if you try hard to raise your test scores and tackle these upcoming AP classes, I think you’ll do well. Good luck!

your essay grade ec are very good. i think u have good chances nut for hyp i tjink u will need to get higher sat. but very good chance overall. good luck!

Id retake the sat/act and aim for 2200/33 if you really want to go to UPenn. ED will he your chances, and because youre not trying to go to Wharton your chances are even better! Your ECs are good, a few leadership posisitions are always good. PYBC will also be tough, but I’d say you should get into probably one- two (Cornell and one other) others look like admits!

Bring your SAT score up. But you have a good shot at Uva and in fact all the schools really. You are very competitive!
