<p>having no AP classes is going to hurt you but you still have a very good gpa. i wouldnt suggest submitting your SAT scores your ACT are much better but i would still suggest a retake in the fall. As of now i think you have have a great chance at rutgers and penn state. I think you also have a pretty good chance at BU and villanova. since your oos for UNC that will be a low reach for you and i think umich will be a similar situation. I think boston college will be a low/mid reach for you. but if you get your ACT score up in the 30’s you will have a much better chance.</p>
<p>Penn state and UNC are great schools. Shouldve took at least a couple AP’s. why didnt you? But yeah, you have a good shot at the two i mention above.</p>

<p>I would say retake acts and aim for 30s an submit that since obviously you did better on that. No aps definitely hurts you. Gpa is good. For many of those colleges you need much stronger ec’s showing leadership and at least one that you’ve grown with over the past couple of years. Hopefully you have some kind of hook for an essay or legacy? </p>

you have solid gpa and rank… and your ethnicity…
i think you can improve your chances if you do better on sat.

<p>The only thing that hurts you is your SAT, and if you can manage to improve that, I think you will get into a lot of good colleges. The fact that you didn’t take AP’s will hurt you when applying for the higher level colleges. Your extra-curriculars seem solid, and if you can find an EC that you truly have a passion for, that would be great. Colleges look for character and personality outside of academics.</p>
<p>Bottom Line: Improve your GPA and you will find yourself with lots of acceptance letters. </p>

<p>Raise that SAT and it’ll increase your chances by a longshot. And that’s sorta messed up how you’re applying as an African American, you know that you’re an arab, right? Oh well.</p>
<p>Technically egypt is in africa so i’d be considered an AA.
And why bother raising sat scores if half those schools require sat 2s and theres not enough time to retake sat 1 and 2. So raising the act would be better. correct me if im wrong.</p>
<p>BC and MU are reaches (low-mid reaches) the rest are all matches. Raise your scores a little and you could possibly get this reaches to matches. </p>
