<p>hey guys, thanks in advance for helping me out, the whole college application craze has been getting to me a little recently.</p>

<p>gpa: 4.0 w, 4.64 uw
sat: 2320 (800 r, 720 m, 800 w)
sat subject: 800 us hist, 760 chemistry, 760 lit
national merit SF
ap exams: Euro 5, US hist 5, calc ab 5, chemistry 5, taking biology, english lit and comp, calc bc, spanish v, and us gov and politics this year</p>

<p>extracurriculars:
president of NEHS,
co editor in chief of school yearbook
co president of spanish honor society/spanish club
co founder of science honor society
key club project coordinator
band section leader (flute)
crew team (team won state champs for our division)
varsity and jv volleyball
national honor society, history honor society member</p>

<p>awards (nothing major)
national merit SF (so far)
summer residential governor's school for the humanities
ap scholar with honor
wellesley book award (school wide thing)
various departmental awards (6 in all)</p>

<p>essays: i'm a good writer, and i think they're coming along nicely
teacher recs: should be really good, haven't seen them</p>

<p>I think your scores give you a great shot, but the ECs might look a little run of the mill. Then again, you’d have to be pretty great to get your scores and do sports, etc. Overall, pretty good shot!</p>

<p>Academics are solid for those schools, ECs being alright. You have a okay shot at Dartmouth/Duke/Williams, the rest are well within range.</p>

<p>Might also look at Holy Cross-very good combination of academics and athletics. HC has good crew program and strong English department.</p>

<p>You have great stats and I think you match all of your lists, except for Dartmouth, Duke and Williams which are reaches for everyone anyway. </p>

<p>You’re probably in everywhere. Although I’d say both Darmouth and Duke are a little bit of reaches because your ECs aren’t incredible. </p>

<p>You’re probably in to all of the schools easily except Bowdoin, just because they weigh EC’s and personality more so than scores (you don’t even have to submit them). If you write well, though, I’m sure you stand a chance.
The same goes for Dartmouth, but I’m sure you’ll be fine.
The other schools seem like targets. </p>

<p>You are set academically and I think your ECs are good too- how many high school students start a corporation or have a patent anyway? I’d highlight your athetics, yearbook and governors school achievements.</p>

<p>Its not easy to get into Williams, Dartmouth or Duke but you’ve got a solid chance at them and good shots as well at Middlebury and Bowdoin. Hamilton and Kenyon look like matches too, don’t know anything about Wooster, and for UVA and W & M it depends on whether you are instate or not. Instate you look very solid and you’d be extremely competitive out of state too at either of those VA schools. Good luck!</p>

<p>I’d say you have a good chance in all those schools. Not sure I see much of a focus though. Make sure your essays give a good idea of what your passions are.</p>

<p>In at William and Mary, Kenyon, and Wooster. Hamilton, Bowdoin, and UVA match, where as I’d say mid reach for Williams and Duke, and mid-high reach for Middlebury and Dartmouth. Solid application though! Good luck!</p>
