I work in the summer and was promoted at 16 to leader of many college-aged coworkers, I lead a Catholic girls group every other Friday, I am in National Honor Society, English Honor Society, Model United Nations, and Beta Club (among others). I'm on the Girls Golf team and have Varsity lettered in my sport.

Okay, thank you so much! All opinions are appreciated! If I could go out of state I would, but I need to make use of my Hope scholarship (so if there are any other Georgia schools you think I would be better suited for, please let me know!). Thanks again!

I think you’ve got quite a good chance of getting into Georgia Tech. Your classload is top notch, especially with your high GPA. If you get your math score into the mid 600s you’ll definitely get in. Also, if you do very well in AP calc or stat that can make up for a bit of a deficit in your math score.

I don’t think you will have a problem. Your ECs and grades are stellar. Work on your test scores though, especially in math, and try for atleast a 2100. What about SAT subject scores?

Oh okay thanks! Well… I haven’t taken any  Is that bad? I don’t know anyone who has taken any. What is their purpose exactly? Is it basically a second AP exam or something?

It looks like you have a tough schedule but your Sat scores are a little low. If you retake it an get in the 2000-2350 range you would have an even higher chance!

easier said than done unfortunately! Thank you :)

I’m sorry that I can’t be more helpful. I am the complete opposite. I have a perfect math score then lower cr and writing scores! Have you applied to Emory university. It is a great school with a beautiful campus in the heart of Atlanta. I’m thinking of applying there if I don’t get into other schools early decision.

Well I’m only a junior so I haven’t started applying yet! Emory is a great school, my little sister has medical problems and goes there for help. My friend’s mom went to Agnes Scott and then to Emory and she’s a nurse and she said don’t go there unless you want to be a doctor (cause it is so expensive). The reason I like GA Tech is cause I’m just really into learning everything I can and focusing on school. I party but not as much as they do at UGA (although I’ll probably end up going there since I can get in for sure).
