-I've gotten to know my guidance counselor fairly well, so hers should be good too.

-I could also send an additional one from my newspaper advisor, state department supervisor, or one of my georgetown professors.

I think that's everything. Thanks, guys! I'll chance you back as soon as I can.

bump…

Harvard, Georgetown, and Tufts are going to be really hard because Harvard is Harvard, and Georgetown and Tufts have super competitive IR programs. I think you have a really good chance for UNC, Emory, and you will probably get accepted into the other schools.

Harvard might be abit of a reach, cause as mentioned before, it’s friggin Harvard. As for the other school i think you have serious potential. It’s clear from the get-go you’ve thought about your entire high school career very thoroughly and planned it out every step of the way. I think you’ve got a chance :)

Return the favor?

Harvard is a bit of a reach because your act is pretty low, but that’s a pretty good list. Tufts might be more of a reach too. If you bring up yor act you’ll have a better chance!!

UNC will also be very difficult, but this is because it only takes 12% of its incoming class as OOS.

Agree with other who have posted mostly. Your stats are a little low for the top three, but definitively don’t let that deter you. If possible I would retake the SAT again and go for 2150+ as that is what I’ve heard to be a pseudo-cutoff number for the top echelon of schools. Also, I don’t know how your school does GPA, but that weighted GPA might look low to schools. Not a big deal considering your classes however.

Your ECs look pretty good and focused, especially considering your projected major. I would be cautious with overloading rec letters however, 2-3 MAX.

Good shot at most, top 3 will be tough, raise those scores and apply though!

Chance back?
