I am Indian and attend a public school in the south. I am currently interested in UPenn, Columbia, Emory, UChicago, and Northwestern.

<p>Standardized Test Scores:
SAT: 2180 (650 CR 730 W 800 M)-only taken once during sophomore year winter, know I can raise this to a 2250+, the CR score was way lower than on any of my practice tests (720+);
don’t know if I’ll take it again or not…
Opinions on this?</p>

<p>I am fairly confident that I will have strong recommendations and essays. I know a lot of emphasis is put on those two aspects, but based on my ECs, scores, etc. provided, what are my chances at the schools I mentioned? </p>

<p>I’m pretty sure your app is good enough for Harvard, Princeton, Yale, Stanford, MIT to consider you as well</p>

<p>I can’t see you getting rejected to any of these schools, you have an extremely impressive application.</p>

<p>I don’t get why people put their 9th place team finish as an award! I think it detracts from the application… but you definitely have an above average shot at all of those schools! :)</p>

<p>Like ahovahov said, ivies are pretty much reaches for everyone. That being said you definitely have an above average application. Just keep up your academics and write good essays and I’d say you have a great shot.</p>

UPenn is always unpredictable just like Columbia but you have the perfect stats for both schools. Wish you the best of luck.</p>

<p>you have a solid chance at all the schools except uchicago, and upenn, those may be harder to get in just because they are crazy competitive schools. but regardless you still have a chance at those schools. chance me back please?</p>

<p>I think you have a great shot at getting in! My friend recently got into every single school you listed, and she had a lower ACT score than you. Her essays were really great though.</p>
