Schools I'm applying to:
University of Pennsylvania
George Washington University
Boston University
Rutgers University
The College of New Jersey
University of Pittsburgh
Quinnipiac University
Seton Hall University

What do you guys think? Which universities do you think I have a shot at? Also any tips for being a more competitive applicant? Any input is much appreciated!

University of Pennsylvania-definitely a reach
George Washington University-Match but maybe low reach
Boston University- Match
Rutgers University-Match
University of Pittsburgh- Safety
Quinnipiac University- Match (Maybe a safety?)

my advice is to do really well during your senior year in the first semester and maybe take an SAT ii to further improve your app. Good luck!

Upenn- Reach…all ivies are considered reach for pretty much everyone
Pitt-low match…safety
BU- Match
Rutgers-Match low match
Sorry im not too familiar with the other schools

My general tip is to get raise the ACT to at least 29

UPenn-very high reach (but def. more chance if you get act score up)
GW-high match
BU-reach
Rutgers- high match
Quinnipiac-safety/low match
pittsburg- safety

also, tips for improving application: try taking a few subject tests; if you get a good score with these and send them along with the act, schools will know that you’re good at specific class subjects since (i’m assuming since you didn’t list anything about it) you’re not sending any ap scores
