I'm currently a junior in high school.
Asian-American female
GPA UW - 3.70/4.0 (My school does not do weighted or class rank.)
ACT - 34
SAT - 2260
Income Bracket - ~170,000
SAT Subject: Math 2 800, Physics 800

Junior Year Schedule - AP Calc, AP Computer Science, AP Macroecon, AP Microecon, AP Lit, Spanish 2, Physics, Government (also planning on self studying AP Psych)

Summer of Jr. Year - East Asia History and Accounting courses at a local university

Sr. Yr - Spanish 3, AP Lang, AP Stats, AP Bio, AP-USH, AP Art History & Computer Science course at local state university

(I've taken the hardest courses available except AP Chem and AP Euro. There has also been an upward trend in grades for the most part. My worst semesters were 2nd semester freshman year and 1st semester junior year. I have a legitimate explanation [sudden death of a friend] for my poor grades junior year, but none besides laziness for freshman year. Not sure if my explanation is enough to explain a 3.28 gpa of junior year 1st semester though.)

Extracurriculars:
- Work at restaurant for 1 year (40 hours during summer, 18 during school year, Freshman Year-Sophomore Year)
- Work at another restaurant for 1 year (40 hours during summer, 18 during school year, Sophomore Year-Junior Year)
- Volunteering at local hospital (400 total hours since Freshman year-beginning junior year)
- Volunteering at the ER (150 hours from junior year-now)
- Academic competition (1st in Biology local)
- Peer leader in support group (6 hours a week, not sure if I should mention this because I would have to admit to having an eating disorder in the past)
- Creator of anonymous eating disorder support group (4 hours a week -- started this in the summer before junior year after I dealt with my eating disorder)
- Piano for 11 years
- If all goes well, I hopefully will be able to do a paid IT internship at a large insurance company this summer. If not, I plan on doing research with a professor at the local university, while taking classes.

My recommendations should be generic I think. I do have ADHD but I'm a little nervous about mentioning that to colleges.
