Please comment and chance me on the schools I listed. I’ll chance back!
So you’ve got good academics, apparently really good course rigor and a strong GPA. Your ECs are pretty solid, but your test scores will be a little low for cornell and dartmouth. I’m also not seeing any unique hooks, but it’s always a toss-up. ED to cornell will up your chances, but i would still put them at around 30-40% for cornell. just a little lower for dartmouth regular decision, around 25%, and then i’d say you’ll get in to colgate. Good luck regardless.
I think you have a good shot! Your grades and test scores are fine in my opinion and your ecs are pretty good although your volunteering activities and some ecs are pretty common among other applicants. But since you’re applying ed to Cornell I really do think you have a decent chance! Good luck!
I think you have an excellent shot, but it really depends on those essays! Are you applying to any other schools? I recommend Case Western highly for premed; one of my closest family friends goes there and even though she moved from Hawaii, she can’t recommend it enough.
The only thing you can do at this point (that’s in your control) is express tons of interest. I don’t know how effective it will be, but it’s better than nothing. Some schools really like it because if you express a lot of interest it makes schools think their your no.1 choice. And like I said, they want a high yield rate.
