<p>I think the worst hit was opting to be a year ahead in the science curriculum at my school (took Biology as a freshman); I didn't have the math to keep up with courses such as Physics.</p>

<p>The GPA is great, transcript is solid, but SAT is a little weak… if you do bring the ACT up to a 31-32, you’re in great shape, not to mention your EC’s are awesome! With your stats right now, here’s my diagnosis:</p>

<li>Vassar-BIG Reach (ditto, but it’s ok to have 2 of these)</li>

<p>Test scores aren’t the best but you have so many other aspects that your essays need to shine! I’m sorry about the not improving ACT =( I know what that’s like haha =) Science is my worst section but best subject in school, ironic huh? </p>

<p>you’re in at penn state, rutgers, and fordham. your stats are pretty similar to mine, i’m also applying to barnard, brandeis, and colgate and i think they’re high matches or low reaches except brandeis is probably a good match. vassar and NYU are probably low reaches.
