I'm an Italian female.

My weighted GPA has always been in the 3.77-3.82 range (out of 100: 92-96)

SAT'S
SAT II: Chem: 630 Math I: 630 (I know, they're low.)
Taking the SAT I in March and the ACT in April; If it's any indication I got a 203 on my PSAT, so I'm hoping for an SAT score around that number.

AP/Honors Courses
9th: Honors Math (Math 2AB Honors)

10th: AP European History, Honors Chem, Math3B, American Lit. Honors.
---I got a 4 on the AP Euro Exam.

11th: Physics Honors, AP US History, Brit. Lit Honors, College Algebra/Trig (not sure if this counts for credit...we use a college textbook?)

Next year I'll be taking AP Government/Politics, College Spanish and College Writing (the latter two are offered at my school by St. John's University)

Member of Mixed Chorus for two years (freshman and sophmore); now a member of Select Chorus for the next two (junior and senior; audition required)
Spanish Cultural Club Member for two years.
Video Club member for three years (we produce our morning news at school; basically like AV Club)
Member of the Service Action Club for two years.

Thanks guys!

haha no reason to be sorry for being new, welcome!

nyu dosnt use your weighted GPA, so it would be helpful to post your unweighted GPA
With a PSAT of 203 you have a strong chance of scoring higher on the actual SAT.

rite now, if you were to get say a 2100 on your SAT you would be a match for NYU, considering your major and the college which you would have applied to.

I heard NYU doesn’t look at weighted gpa. So your unweighted may be high 80’s but regardless, you’re a match.

Thanks guys!

I did a little math, and my unweighted GPA translates to about a 3.6 (90). Not as high as I would like, but as long as there’s a 9 in front of it, I don’t mind.
