I’m really passionate about public health, from my clubs and extracurriculars, I love giving back to the community and learning about how we can solve problems that stunt growth in our community. I hope to focus on diseases that impact other countries with a focus on Africa and women. I also want to participate in Peace Corps in college. My dream is to go into Global Health Law and eventually work for the United Nations. Consider myself and advocate of social justice and a health community.

Subjective
Clubs
-Debate team. My events were Domestic Extemp and Congressional Debate where I went to state in both my senior year. Also did Informative Speaking didn’t go to state for it :frowning: (Member of NSDA) Apart of TFA Circuit
-President of National Honor Society: I really wanted this spot because I get to give a speech at graduation which I know is kind of low. One of my biggest accomplishments because I am in love with service and everything that has to do with
community. This was really important to me and I wanted to make my mother happy.
-Class Vice-President (Not really much of a role, but I kinda like the title I’m so sorry

-Created a Club known as Girl UP which raises money for the United Nations for Girls all over the world (President). Far most one of my biggest accomplishments ever! I really love Girl Up and it’s extremely important to me and my little baby, that I nourished! One of the supported girls all over the world. One thing we started a drive at our school that collects pads, tampons, and other stuff for women at Haven for Hope. Created an annual color run called: Girl ^Get Up was one open to the whole city. Started a girl’s camp over the summer that has different activities for girls at my school that talk about careers and getting in touch with who you want to be! I was featured in the Yearbook!
-Participate in food distribution every month at church!
-Future Physicians Club (Secretary); Just a career based club where talk about health professions and visit different
-Youth Community Outreach Leader for church; I organize all the community service activities and clothing distributions that youth in the church does. Also super important to me and I loved it so much! We revamped a clothing distribution at our church and it was super successful. Clothing distribution linked up with the food distribution as well. I love it we’ve done a lot as a group of youth
-Play piano for church every Sunday (Volunteered)
-Was in schools Orchestra for two years. Was second chair/first stand led orchestra to sweepstakes at UIL
-Volunteer work at University Health System over the summer (75 hours+)
-Run Youtube Channel and a Blog that talk about studying and my life.

Job Experience
Worked at my family business since I was about 8 or 9 no pay at all

Letters of Recommendation
AP Bio Teacher also the sponsor for m club/very close relationship. Georgetown Alumni
Debate Coach: Extremely close with
AP English Teacher: knows my writing and personality

Essays (Topics I’m considering writing about)
-The main focus of my essays are just taking action in society and how that has really influenced my extracurriculars. I am really all about taking action and not limiting ourselves to what we think we can or cannot do. The whole point of being privileged is to help those who are in need so they can be raised up. I hope that’s what my application speaks about how I see an issue and what I can do to change it
-Talk about my own experience with issue and struggles, the basic stuff haha. I really want to talk about how living with my mom and being alone all the struggles we’ve had together and how that’s morphed me into the being that I am
-Talking about traveling to Nigeria as a kid and how that has influenced my passion for making a change. I’ve always wanted to make a change in life and I believe that, that was where it sparked
-My dad’s business being a a target in the Ferguson riots back in the Summer of 2014
-Being a Nigerian-American and how I’ve had to overcome discrimination and fight through it?
-Just want to depict me within a person I really want to talk about myself as a human and who I am

I think you have very strong chances for Boston University, University of Washington, and NYU. If you had a lot of B’s, it seems like a 50-50 shot for the other schools.

If you could chance me, that would be very helpful!http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1971751-what-are-my-chances-of-getting-into-uga-march-rd.html#latest
