ACT?
College suggestions?
Other recommendations on increasing my chances? PLEASE

you’re in the range of admitted. sat is ok. no need to retake act. do a good application, you will be a match.

Just to be safe, I’d really recommend re-taking the SAT and/or ACT. I got a 2120 the first time, and took it again- got a 2370. So anything can happen really. That said, your EC’s are really outstanding compared to what mine were. Good luck!

The answer to all chance threads are the same. If you are worried about any part of your application in particular, work the hardest you can to improve it in the time that you have left; that’s the only thing you can do. I have seen Rice take people with very high “stats” and I have seen Rice take people with very low stats. I have also seen Rice reject people with near perfect test scores. They look at your application as a whole, so make sure you work hard on everything (especially your essays!). Best of luck. :)

Thanks! Good to hear I have some sort of chance. I’ll retake the SAT for sure and maybe the ACT…
