Retake Chem Sat2 be a competeitve applicant by showing CMU that u are good at math and science
Also look at Boston University, Suny Binghamton, University of Michigan, and Lehigh university
Also since I am seekin recurit for CMU also, may I ask…
what races do u run and what times do u get?

I assume you’re looking at MCS for premed. If so, you are in decent shape academically but your test scores are a little low. ~2100 for MCS will put you in a good position.

650 on Chem and you want to be premed? Hit the books harder or it’s going to be a long 4 years no matter what program accepts you.

good luck!

I think you’ll get in!

CSMathAsa1994…my 100 is probably around 11.7 and my prs for long and triple jump are 19.6 ft and 39.2 ft, respectively. What are the qualifying times needed in CMS? Yeah…do you think you can math major and go to medical school?

Where else are you applying? Why so passionate about CMU for premed? If financial aid is going to be important to you, make sure you apply to options that will make premed cheap and with a high acceptance rate to med school. CMU is neither of these (lots of loans in most aid packages) so even if it is the mix of music and science or something else about CMU that makes it special to you, you should widen your choices. Look at the premed forum about schools with good acceptance rates to good med schools. Then, see the match with good merit and financial aid schools. Some small, less well know schools have great acceptance rates to medical and vet schools and often give great merit aid for kids who offer diversity (music, track) particularly division 3 schools. Consider Centre College KY, Rhodes in TN, Washington and Lee in VA…small liberal arts schools with great med acceptance rates and good aid particularly for first to college and out of state. You may get the chance to do division III sports there and certainly play in the orchestra. Also, your state flagship will be offer cheaper education and good prep for premed. Be sure to apply to some safeties and keep the long term in mind.
