Congratulations on your HS achievements.

Which school did you apply to? CS is in Trinity, EE in Pratt.

As I’m sure you know, Duke is a reach for most students. Duke’s RD acceptance rate for international students is probably under 5%, maybe even in the range of 2%. If you applied for financial aid, that will make admission relatively tougher as well.

Have you been accepted/denied/deferred anywhere yet? At what other schools are you awaiting decisions?

I have applied to CS in the Pratt School of Engineering. I am awaiting decisions on Rice, Vanderbilt and Care Western reserve. I have not been accepted into any top schools yet. Only got into some state schools.

CS major is in Trinity, not Pratt. Pratt has 5 majors: BME, civil, electrical & computer engineering, environmental, and mechanical. https://pratt.duke.edu/undergrad/degrees

Are the schools where you were accepted affordable?

I do have a full ride to my state school, but it doesn’t have the best academic programs in comparison to the other schools.
