Chance me -- In state, RD.

I am applying to Duke undecided. I am an in-state student from New Hanover county, and come from a competitive high school within the area. I am female and hispanic, but I don't know if that holds any weight at Duke.

Other various activities: I have participated in 3 various foreign exchange programs throughout high school, and am in the midst of coordinating a foreign exchange program for my school for this coming spring (2012). I have worked with the Honors Flight organization to do fundraisers which raise money to send veterans of war to Washington DC to visit various memorials. I have also worked 2 jobs, if that holds any weight.

Recommendations: One from an english teacher (very good), and another from my math teacher (very good). I'm assuming my counselor rec was decent as well.
Essays: Strong

I am hoping to enter Duke during the fall of 2012. Any insight on my chances of getting accepted?

Also, I neglected to add in my original post that I will be a first-gen college kid and a URMS (which I’m sure some could gather from my post to begin with).
