Chance Me, In-State (Updated) -- I'll chance back

*Disclaimer: I'm so sorry I am writing so much; I'm trying to be as thorough as possible. I can't help it :). I'll be thorough with you, too.

Caucasian female applying from a good, competitive, public high school in Northern Virginia to the College of Arts and Sciences (looking to major in Computer Science, and maybe English)

Weighted GPA: 4.19 or 4.20
Unweighted GPA: My school doesn't provide an unweighted GPA, although I'd say it's a 3.8
Class Rank: 50/415 (12th--specifically 12.04th--percentile)

SAT I:
CR 620
M 680
W 670
1300 combined, 1970 total

SAT IIs:
Lit 680-700+ (that's what I'm expecting--not great, I know)
Math I 650-700 (even worse, especially since it's Math I /: )

ACT:
Composite of 28 without studying (oops...), taking again tomorrow

Upward trend since Freshman year. Sophomore year was a road bump, with mostly B's and B+'s (my schedule was imbalanced and I was going through a personal situation--didn't complain about this though). Junior year was much better. And Senior year is stellar with five AP classes (B+, A-, A, A, A), band (A+), and chemistry (A).
APs: World (4), USH (3), Psych (5) ... this year: Calc AB, Comp Sci A, US Gov, Lit, and Lang.

Extra Curriculars:
Tri-M Music Honor Society (10, 11, 12)
National Honor Society (11, 12)

Project 14 mentor (12 -- I am a mentor to a freshman)
Middle School mentoring (12)

Awards:
XC Varsity Letter (10)
Biochemistry Honorable Mention at Science Fair (10)
Eagle Scholar-Athelete (9, 10, 11, 12)
Academic Letter (9, 10, 11, 12)

Jobs:

Summer Lifeguard (10-11, 11-12)
Laser Tag Arena (11, 12)
Harris Teeter, second job (12)
(I don't want to detail the hours, but I've worked A LOT)

FEA, tutored at elementary school (9, 10): 30
Volunteering at Thrift Shop: 15ish, once again I have to check
...I know I have some more, I write them all down in random places and am feeling incredibly lazy right this moment lol. I do have some, although I don't have 300 or any incredible amount.

Oh, and my essays are very strong. I was careful not to use language that would make me appear pretentious. The language appropriately jives with the content. I didn't get much assistance on them, rather I got feedback deeming them excellent (with a few things to look at) by my two English teachers.

I know this is a long list, and it may look like I'm just trying to add more and more (well, I kind of am :P), but I have been dedicated to most of the things I've tried for at least two years. I'm trying to emphasize that I've been a runner, a tutor/mentor, and an employee.

Chance me? :) I'll be happy to chance you back.

Oh, and I would like to note that halfway through my high school career there was a grade scale change. Not enough to really affect me, but previously 90-92 = B+, 85-89=B, whereas now 84-87=B, 88-89=B+, 90-92=A-.

They did not retroact the grades for my Freshman and Sopohmore years, but my Junior and Senior years still would have been better than the previous years even without the change.

For starters, your SAT score is well above par and your EC’s are excellent. Id say its a good match but since its a top tier school with a low acceptance rate so keep that in the back of your head. Im sure you’ll be fine though.
Chance me back please.http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1070133-chance-me-syracuse-penn-state-main-suny-binghamton-pleasee.html</a></p>

You will get better responses in the CHANCE ME forum - it’s specifically for chancing alone.

@UVAorBust - …well don’t I feel dumb. I didn’t even see that; I just saw a bunch of “chance me” threads on here. Thanks! :P

No Prob :D…

What county are you in?

Would you happen to go to Woodson? I’d say in.

@Virginiuh – Loudoun County.

@drjenkins – No, not Woodson :). Thank you, though.
