<p>Strengths: URM, Strong EC's (main ones listed here but others left unlisted), RESEARCH, within the top 10%, Class Rigor, Steady grade trend (except one C in AP BIO! Hardest class ever at my school!!!!), strong essays, strong recs, short answers: very creative</p>

<p>As you already stated your GPA and test scores are sub average for unc but i think that all of your ecs should compensate. solid chances</p>

<p>Agreed. URM status and your EC’s and strong essays will likely make up for your slightly low stats. From everything I’ve heard on here and from admissions, essays and class rigor and GPA are what matters the most. They would rather see you with a B in an AP class than have a 4.0 taking academic and a few honors classes if your school offers more rigorous options.</p>
