<p>Also I don't think UNC cares about this for admission but both of my parents attended UNC (class of '86 I believe)</p>

<p>I think I have a good shot being in state and whatnot, but it's always good to get outside advice. Also if I forgot any important information just tell me. </p>

<p>Yeah you have a good chance, don’t worry, those stats will also get you into other top schools( but UNC is very good)!</p>

<p>You should be fine, although UNC-CH admission has gotten more & more competitive. Where else are you applying?</p>

<p>Also applying to UVA, Michigan (probably my #1), South Carolina (safe), and maybe Cornell depending on what I get on the SAT and SAT IIs in the fall.</p>

<p>As long as your essays are good, you should be just fine. Your test scores overall put you in the 75th Percentile (M over, CR under, ACT at 75th %). Excellent GPA, rigorous academic schedule/results (AP scores) and your ECs are good. Approximately 50% of in-state applicants are accepted and you appear to be in a atrong position. Being a legacy will help some, too. </p>
