<p>11th grade AA female attending one of the top 10 schools in the country.</p>

<p>GPA 3.6
*seeing as my school is very competitive, I'm only in the top 40%</p>

<p>SAT 1960 (CR 700 / M 600 / W 660)
ACT 29
*** sat and act scores should raise to 2100 and 32 respectively</p>

<p>APs: English, Macroeconomics, World History, Physics 1 & 2
***will take Bio, Calc, and Government next year</p>

<li>NHS member</li>
<li>Heavy involvement in church youth group and choir</li>
<li>Heavy involvement in my school's theatre troupe (will have completed 9 shows by graduation)</li>
<li>Academic and social mentor to a group of freshmen </li>
<li>Shadowed/Interned within A&M's biology department for 3 years during the summer</li>
<li>will graduate with 10+ college credit hours (mainly in biology-related subjects)</li>

<p>TAMU doesn’t consider the level of education your school offers compared to other schools, only your class ranking in that school matters. For instance if you’re ranked in the top 10% of an awful school, you have the same chances as someone ranked top 10% of one of the best schools in the nation. Your SAT scores are fine, you’re a Junior so you’ll have time to improve them even more. Nursing isn’t the hardest to get into, you should be fine.</p>
