Chance Me? In-State

Hello! Doing this again.

I’ve come to terms with the fact I didn’t do much and probably won’t get in.

Chance me for UNC and NC State

Here’s the thing, I didn’t do much for EC so…yeah that’s not going for me.

I went to an early college high school. No sports. No APs are offered, took pretty much honors everything and am dual enrolled (will graduate with about 50-60 college credits from an in-state 4-year university, not a community college). I will be graduating with a minor in Spanish. Very small competitive school, I had a lackluster junior year (personal problems) that resulted in a C in a 300 level Spanish course Spring Semester and GPA sputtering.

Want to go pre-med, desired major is biology.

I would say you have a decent chance, especially given your ethnic and SE background.

Where in the state do you live? There are geographic quotas that impact admissions.

I agree with Essel, although your chances for NCSU are slightly better.

I think you would get into both UNC and NCSU. Good Luck !

UNC is a reach for pretty much anyone, even with perfect stats. It’s definitely worth an application, but don’t come in with any expectations. Your chances are far better with NCSU.
