Thank You!!!

Did you mean National Merit Finalist? You’d already know about your Semifinalist standing by now.

Did you apply EA or ED anywhere?

Everything about you looks impressive- grades, stats, courses, ECs. It’s clear you have a passion for CS as well, which is great. But as I’m sure you know, at top schools admissions for Asian-American students interested in CS is extremely competitive. Hopefully your essay and recs catch the eyes of admissions committees.

oops sorry!! just changed it  I didn’t apply EA anywhere. I feel like my GPA is kinda low for HYPSM though :\

You look great on paper, but I disagree with some of Pineapple’s analysis. NYU is a match. UChicago is a reach. Amherst is a reach. JHU is a low reach.

You are going to go somewhere great - don’t worry.

Are you really applying to 23 schools?

I did overlook your unweighted GPA (3.78 is low for Ivies/top schools) but believe other measures of your academic performance are stellar. That GPA could be your Achilles Heel for some of the top schools, though.

@ThankYouforHelp Chancing can be pretty subjective. For a few schools I may have been influenced by people I know who were admitted with much less impressive applications.
