*** I moved from India in 10th grade. I don't know if it helps to know that this is the reason I have a 580 CR and 640 Writing (colleges probably don't care about me not being completely fluent in English, but I wished they did!)

This might sound a bit silly, but bear with an “old” lady, isn’t the best way to find out if you can get into UVa to apply there and wait and see? It’s not like you’re going to change your resume/scores/grades appreciably at this point. So give it a shot and have a back-up plan (nobody’s a sure thing.) If you get in, great, if you don’t then recognize that there are plently of good colleges in VA, and what you do wherever you go is more important than where you go. Once you’re in college no one will care where you went to HS even if it is “extremely reputed,” and likewise once you’re in grad school no one will care where you went to college. I hope you accept this perspective in the friendly spirit it is intended. Best wishes for the future.
