Please chance me and give any suggestions to raise my stats.

can anyone reply???

MIT - High Reach
Princeton - Reach
UChicago - Reach
Yale - Reach

When will you take these tests? In my opinion, you should have taken at least one of them a month ago or so. It’s hard to write your application and study for the two of them at the same time.

I’ll take my KVPY test this month.I will take my International olympiads next year. Can you guys give me guidance?

And thank you takemefaraway

Know that very few students from India are admitted to MIT… this is probably because everyone in the country who wants to do anything STEM related in the US feels the need to apply there because of the prestige that comes with it. So unless you’re truly one of the most incredible people applying, it’s going to be a high reach no matter what.

As for your other schools, all of these are unpredictable with their admissions and often reject people with your stats. So make sure you apply to safeties and matches.

What I’ve noticed in a lot of Indian applicants (I’m Indian so I know a lot of Indians applying to the US here) is their obsession with prestige and how they absolutely MUST go to HYPSM or UChicago or any other school in the highest tier. While it’s fine to apply there, they don’t realize that acceptance rates don’t dictate how good a certain school is, which is why many refuse to apply to schools with lower acceptance rates that are almost equal in other aspects (eg: how UMich is almost as good for business as Wharton)

What i’m trying to say basically is that don’t just apply to those schools.

You have great stats and try to get KVPY. If you get it, no need to pressurize yourself with more than 2 olympiads… It will be good enough… You are a great candidate and I feel that you will do very well!

In my opinion, you’re a good candidate, but Yale, MIT and Princeton are a reach for everyone. You should find some universities that provide students with good education and where being admitted isn’t that hard. There are plenty of them, but they’re just less popular.
Best of luck. :)

Thank you everyone.
can you guys tell me some universities that has great aerospace engineering and astrophysics majors.

Use collegeboard.org
That’s the best place for finding a suitable uni.
And if you want to score more than 2300, you should work on your grammar and English in general.

If you are a full pay student it will be an advantage? If not then expect a rocky road.

I want financial aid.
I will work on my English for
sure,takemefaraway.
Thanks guys.

Its a tough road ahead davincispj4… but I don’t think its impossible :)

One quick question, what were you awarded for from Mr. Madhavan Nair?
