I think my extracurriculars arent the best but i honestly took advantage of what is provided at my school. My school didnt have a charity club for grammar school, therefore me and my friends made our own club. Also keep a mind that i am FEMALE that is living in Saudi Arabia and therefore my opportunities are already very limited. Will universities take all these things into consideration?

-Economics subject award
-Art subject Award
-Came 5th place in a regional art competition
-Overall academic award
-Most effort award

Colleges:
-University of Virginia (1st choice)
-University of Michigan
-University of North Carolina (Chapel Hill)
-Northwestern
-George Mason University (safety)
-University of Chicago
-Virginia Tech
-UC Berkeley

I think your grades and ECs aren’t outstanding, but decent/good. As long as your essays are good, you have a good chance for all of those univesitys. Berkely is a low reach/reach though

David9537 lives in New Zealand like me so he is a bit influenced by what we have here in NZ. Since you are a female student in Saudi Arabia that really works in your favour. You don’t have a lot of ECs, but being a senior prefect is a great achievement itself. I’m not sure if the US unis will understand what a senior prefect is so you might have to explain that one to them. You’ll get into Virginia easy.

I have a lot of frieds over in Saudi and Qatar, so I think I have a good picture of what it’s like over there. What you’ve achieved in such a conservative(no offence intended whatsoever) place is really amazing. I’m applying to many of the colleges that you are(UVA, UMich, and UNC and for the same courses! How 'bout that?), and I think you have an amazing shot from whatever little I know about them.

-University of Virginia (1st choice)-Low match
-University of Michigan-Mid match
-University of North Carolina (Chapel Hill)-Mid match
-Northwestern-High match
-George Mason University (safety)
-University of Chicago-low reach(not entirely your fault, acceptance is really low)
-Virginia Tech-Don’t know about this school
-UC Berkeley-High match/low reach
