Colleges:

Loyola University Chicago
Penn State University Park
California State University: Northridge

I’d say you’re an interesting candidate, certainly. The geographic diversity and the book publishing make you stand out. While financial aid might hurt your chances slightly, the schools you listed are small reaches, except perhaps San Diego. Although with budget cuts … you stand out, however.

I could be wrong, of course; but here is my take.

How much do you predict to score on the SAT? any scores from practice tests?

Unfortunately, the colleges in your list give out very little financial aid to international student I think you should research a bit more about your choices.

Although I’m not familiar with your GPA system, how rigorous is your curriculum? Are you ranked in top 5% to 10 % of your class?

Regarding the SAT, I’m not to worried about Math. I expect a good score on that part. atleast a 700. I’m more worried about the other parts. I’m working on my english now and I hope it will be enough to get good scores.

I’m not sure about my classrank, we don’t get that information.

Regarding financial aid, I’m able to take a loan from the National Board of Student Aid here in Sweden. But I don’t think it will cover everything and I would like to get away from a to big debt.

I will do my best to research other school, maybe you have som suggestions?

How about Northwestern. It’s my dreamschool, but at the same time I know it’s a very high reach. Is there any point in applying?

This is my list at the moment (Will not apply to all):
NORTHWESTERN UNIVERSITY
LOYOLA UNIVERSITY CHICAGO
MICHIGAN STATE UNIVERSITY
LOYOLA MARYMOUNT UNIVERSITY
BOSTON UNIVERSITY
UNIVERSITY OF SAN FRANCISCO
PENN STATE UNIVERSITY PARK
LEHIGH UNIVERSITY
NORTHERN ILLINOIS UNIVERSITY
CSU NORTHRIDGE

From top to bottom - first to last choice if I could pick any.

Want to narrow it down to about 4-6 colleges.
With Reach(es) Match(es) and Safety (-ies)
What are your thoughts?

With help from the National Board of Student Aid here in Sweden(loan). I probably won’t need much aid from the public schools, but then i’ll get in big debt. What to do?
