Chance me? [international]

Hi, I'm an international student (Asian male).

SAT: 2250 (CR800, M750, W700), might take the ACT if this is a deciding factor. Math was a flop though; I consistently achieved 780/800 in practice tests. Pretty confident that I'll be able to get 800 for SAT II Math, maybe that'll help too?

GPA: My school doesn't really use GPA. One of the top schools in the country with the supposedly 'best' education system according to rankings. Top ~5% for Physics and Chemistry and 1% for Math in the school.

ECs: I'm not really active in clubs per se; I'm a member of just one club. However, I volunteer regularly, and am organising 2 different volunteering activities. I'm in my school's talent development programme for Chemistry and have several Math Olympiad medals from Middle School.

I'm also interested in UC Berkeley.

Thanks for all your help guys :)

You have really good chances for Columbia and Berkeley but would you apply to FU? Where in Asia are your from? Also which system does your school use (like IB) and you must have 2 subject tests. It seems that you are very science orientated and they will pick up on that, especially with the EC’s you do. Just make sure your essays are impeccable and strategic, and I would get a humanities/english teacher to attest to your other capabilities for you teacher Rec. Good Luck
