And also, I have an interview coming up for Wake Forest. Can you guys tell me some types of question they might ask and how I should prepare for the interview? Thanks!!

Low GPA…but I really think if you show passion and creativity in your short answers, you should be a strong candidate. I had an in person interview this summer, which I did not prepare at all. It was very laid back and conversational, so just be yourself. If it is an on campus interview then dress nice and show confidence in yourself. They ask questions such as, “Why Wake Forest?” “What do you plan to major in? Why?” “What current event most interests you?” “What are some of your hobbies?” “What books do you like to read?” “What is your favorite class in school? Any regrets in school?” Again if you let your personility shine through, you should be fine and perhaps have fun. I know I did. =)

I had an interview in early September. The questions the lady asked were as follows (or similar to)
What do you look for in a college?
What do you think is your strongest subject?
Why would a Wake Professor want you in his/her classroom?
What author most influences your writing?
Then others about specifics to me
She also asked at the end if I had any questions. I would say you should bring a notecard with two or three well thought out questions and reference to them.

It is ok to be nervous! They do not look down at that. I will say a girl the same day had an interview with a man and he asked questions such as Where was the most recent earthquake and what are your reactions to it…and other current event questions.

Be relaxed and eager to learn from their questions and everything should go smoothly. Best of luck!

My interview was more personal…“What would I talk to the President about”, " What would I change about my high school", “Describe my family life.” That said, it was very comfortable and informal. Dress nicely and bring your resume. That way the interviewer has all your info right away. Good luck!
