Chance Me Into These Schools Please

Hello, I am a sophomore ( Male, white) in a very tough private school in Southern California and I am very interested in colleges already. I have been struggling at this school since I have transferred this year from a tough public school, but it looks like I have this on my resume so far:

3.3 GPA

30 ACT

Both years in Basketball

2 AP Classes

25 Hours of Volunteering

I would like you guys to chance me at these schools so far and what you would recommend for me to do to boost up my application for these schools: ( I’m willing to pay any price for these colleges as my dad is a doctor and makes over 300k a year)

  • University of Washington

-University of Arizona

  • Penn State
  • Pepperdine University

-University of Kansas

-University of Florida

-Virginia Tech

-Syracuse University

-Texas A & M

-UC Irvine ( I live like 10 min away)

- UC Santa Barbara

Thank You!

What do you want to study?

Too early to chance for anything since you can improve your GPA. However, if you don’t improve scores and GPA,
Texas A&M may be out of option. Texas state schools highly prioritze in state kids.

UC’s use only 10-11th grades in their GPA calculation so only having 1 semester worth of grades and your first ACT result is not enough to chance you. Come back at the end of Junior year and use this calculator to calculate your capped weighted UC GPA: https://rogerhub.com/gpa-calculator-uc/
You want to target a capped weighted UC GPA if 4.0+ and an ACT of 32+ for the best chances at Irvine and Santa Barbara.
