bummppppppppppppppppp........
please do chance me

Look up the acceptance rate for internationals, and India if possible. That is the best anyone can give you.

thanks a lot
but what about my chances?
good or bad or ???

No, I know. That's what I'm saying. First, not many people here are qualified to evaluate an international candidate's chances (correct me if I'm wrong here). Second, with Harvard, you can't really tell. That's why the acceptance rate is so low.

Everything you have is absolutely amazing. You are also applying as a transfer, yes? I don't even know if Harvard accepts international transfers; I know they don't accept domestic ones.

I'm a little perplexed. As a current Harvard student, I have to say you look like you're doing great at your school, and I'm pretty sure we're not accepting transfers...

^ That's what I thought. I don't know if the no transfer policy extends to internationals though.

thanks a lot for your replies
but i am not a transfer student...i am still in school
my e/c lists college which is actually school..........so sorry for the in convenience

bump

10 chars

bummmmmmp please help

bummmp do chance me yaar

you can't even go as a transfer, and even as an ugrad i don't really think you stand much more of a shot than the rest of the applicants

ok thanks
well can u name some of my weaknesses?

Hey man.....your ECs are way better than mine........but I think I looked at this same question in another thread of yours........I asked you which city and school you were in?

college class 2012 and already given the sats? lol troll, hi there! lol

I think the best anyone can give you in the way of chances is 7.3% (last year's acceptance rate).

your weakness? the fact that you are doing your +2 in a college which probably is a state government institution. Most international adcoms know that indian state secondary level institutions suck, if in Maharashtra even more. Hence there is probably nothing very impressive about you 'high school' 'GPA'.

Regarding your athletic status thingy. 'College level', 'school level', 'city level' might sound impressive for a second tier public university but most certainly not for the colleges you are looking for.

ECs. If you won the national level science fair, you dont need to mention city and state crap. They know that you are good and thats it.

Leadership position. Being a member of some organizations DOES NOT make you any different from an average applicant, so please cut the ******** and save some space..

Finally, your strong points. Awards and SAT scores. being an indian with relatively low sat math score may affect your chances. You need a terrific essay if you want to consider top universities that will give you financial aid.

^ agree with the above... erm and you might want to cut down on what you write about your athletic involvement. any AO will know that you CAN'T possibly be doing well at swimming, track, hockey, badminton and table tennis all at the same time. it's just not possible ><

sorry dude...it doesnt look too good for you. check out some community colleges.

Oh God. Harvard is not enough for you.
