Ok I just recieved my SAT results and they suck (I’m not exactly grieving over them cuz there are worse things in life)
Give me your most honest opinion about my chances. I’d rather you be brutally blunt.

Extracurriculars- I founded an NGO (heads up! This is not something I did to spruce up my resume like I’m sure a majority of the applicants feel entailed to do. It was profoundly personal to me given that I myself have been a victim of discrimination. This is an LGBT NGO that has gone on to help thousands of people in rural India and it plays a major role in the theme of my applications.)
-raised 90,000 dollars for ostracised LGBT youth
-constructed 2 LGBT shelters that house about 150 ostracised individuals
-awarded scholarships to 40 children and secured their futures
-helmed the microfinance committee in co-operative district banks in 2 states and transformed the entire institution. It went on to help thousands of transgender individuals build ther livelihoods.
-rehabilitated transgender rape victims in the aforementioned shelter and gave them career oriented training wih the help of many other socially conscious individuals.
-conducted a survey, collaborating with the government of India about honour killings-which are vastly underreported.
-led many civil disobedence protests deamnding equal rights.
-recognised by The ministry of Finance and Legislative Affairs and have been awarded a certificate of commendation for bravery
-most inspirational youth 2015 awards (Humsafar Trust)
-couple more awards(can’t name cuz they’ll recognise me on google)
Research:
-interned at a pharmaceutical company and worked with a professor.
I discovered the compound NRC-19 through computer-aided drug design programme, which We believe can cure imatinib mesylate-resistant chronic myeloid leukemia.
This drug is undergoing phase 2 clinical studies.
-I also found a viable substitute for silica in beach sand and have applied for a patent.this is big deal but i didn’t focus on this in my app since my major is LGBT studies coupled with environmental science. I just added it to my resume like a minor detail.
A few other basic, tritely extracurriculars like head boy- but I crafted the high school constitution and basically made it a pluralistic utopian society lol, captain of shuttle badminton club-district prizes, headed an STEM club- state olympiad winning team though
Awards-Received a scholarship from the government of India which would’ve covered all my expenses,had I studied at an Indian college-for being the top 100 percentile in the country in 11th and 12th;
GSLV awards- Also received another opportunity from ISRO(the Indian equivalent of NASA) to be a part of their space program for being one of the the top 100 percentile of students in my country in 10th and 11th.

Stellar recommendations (they all love me- you get what you give I guess)
One extra recommendation though uses superlatives like one in a million and changing the world. I have to admit i was flattered but it seemed a little excessive.

Btw, I got rejected from Urbana Champaign but that essay sucked, My SAT at that time was 2060, I didnt include all of these extra curriculars and I unintentionally applied to the most selective program in engineering(undeclared)- I met with an accident at that time so there’s that. Well, I just hope something better is in store.
And please be honest. I’m not someone who harbours unrealistic expectations and laments over things later.
