<p>I'm a Florida resident.</p>

<p>I currently have a 3.52 weighted and 3.20 unweighted (that will go up once some of my grades are fixed, I have done grade forgiveness for a class I recieved an F in). </p>

<p>Freshman Year: 2 honors
Sophomore Year: 4 honors, 1 AP (did not pass test)
Junior Year: 2 honors, 2 AP (don't know if I passed tests yet)
Senior Year: 2 AP, 1 Honors, Honors Externship Program</p>

<p>First SAT: 1340 (Reading, Writing, and Math)</p>

<p>Taking the SAT (again) and ACT this fall.</p>

<p>ECs: Spanish Honor Society (2 years), El Cid (Spanish Club), Key Club, Teen Trendetters (Reading Mentoring for kids), Also in a Pre-Professional Ballet Company</p>

<p>JMU is a reach. Your SAT scores are low relative to the applicant pool. I think you need each section above 500 to have a realistic shot; above 550 and your odds are decent.</p>

<p>Make sure you have in-state safety options.</p>

<p>Nothing wrong with JMU, but I’m not sure it makes sense if you are paying OOS tuition. Any particular reason for your interest?</p>
