<p>I’m applying for JHU next year!! Definitely GPA and SAT Score are the prime things that JHU looks for in an applicant. You could explain your circumstances with why your freshman grades were bad(mines were too). For me, I’ll explain how my viewpoint shifted on what education meant to me.</p>

<p>Yes, I did that in my essay. For my school the average accepted is a 2190 and 3.83 GPA though. Legacy would help me but I dont think grad school legacy counts </p>
