Thanks!

You look on track but no one on here really knows. Only noticeable weak point is the Math 2C score but otherwise your academic credentials look to be on point.

Yea you have similar spec to me except you have hooks where i didn’t and I got Early Decision. That doesn’t mean you’ll DEFINITELY get in, but it means you have a good shot. Are you planning on applying early or regular?

Since when is a 740 SAT Math II a weak score?

I think you have a great shot at JHU!

I think you have really good chances, especially if you are applying ED

really dont see any weak spots (a 740 on Math II is not weak at all)

Wow, thanks guys. I’m actually applying to JHU reguarl decision (Princeton is my early choice). And yeah, I only took math II because I planned on applying to MIT, but not anymore. Hopefully it wont hold me back!

^yea, you don’t have to submit it anyways. The Math SAT 2C is weak due to the percentile (68th). I imagine most of the posters commenting on that score never took it (I did as I was an engineer).

<a href=“College Board - SAT, AP, College Search and Admission Tools”>College Board - SAT, AP, College Search and Admission Tools;

Here is MIT’s Math breakdown for the Math 2C:

http://mitadmissions.org/apply/process/stats

760-800 (25th to 75th percentile).

It should be similar for JHU engineers given how JHU’s math range (for all majors) is close to MIT’s.

Write good essays and you’re in … Nice work, and Hopkins is a GREAT school where you’ll be pushed hard, won’t have fake Ivy grade inflation or prententions, and be in a “real world” environment.
