no hook, NJ, middle class, nice essay, nice Math & Lit Recs,

CONS: asian, C+ in drivers education and first aid (same teacher hated me! will this affect me?), low science grades junior year (tough yr), very competitive highschool (many kids with good stats).

What you think? Any other schools you reccomend that would be a good undergrad match for biomed? I plan to do medschool/masters after my undergrad studies! I also don't want to spend more 35k per year!

Anyone want to help out?

With 3.7 GPA and 2020 SAT1, IVYs are pretty much out for unhooked as you appear to be. Vandy wants high scores. So Georgiatech is what I would focus on. But, you have a weapon in your arseanal, ED. Use it wisely. Where? you need to talk to a counselor, either at your school or private. If you want to do med school Biomed will kill your GPA so be careful.

Yeah if I get my SAT up, I may just have a shot at ivies. The classes I took pretty much beat my GPA, and a 3.70 from here is considered pretty good, and hopefully the better schools recognize that. Haha any other schools you recommend that may fit my stats?

How about Rice, WUSTL and Northwestern, if you get that SAT up.

Rice and WUSTL are both a little too far for me unfortunately. Great suggestions though!
