<p>Chance me for JMU, Johns Hopkins, George Mason and Carnegie Mellon (I WISH)? :D</p>

SAT 1870 Cr/Ma: 640/620 (Taken in June, I took them again at the beginning in November and my results are due out tomorrow)
ACT 27 (English: 26 Mathematics: 25 Reading: 28 Science: 27 Writing: 25)
Top 15% of a 280 student class
Taken almost all honors and AP (3 CP total, two this year because of scheduling conflicts)
5 on AP US History Exam (Will take AP Physics and AP GoPo in May)
I plan on majoring in Music Teacher Education</p>

<p>JMU is pretty close to a smack dab in the middle match. Hopkins is a reach and CMU is a high reach for sure. CMU’s a toughie for a lot of people though, so don’t get too bent out of shape about it.</p>

<p>Okay. I figured CMU and JHU wouldn’t be realistic. What would my chances for scholarships at JMU be? My family declared Chapter 13 Bankruptcy the summer before my Freshman year and will be in effect until my Jr. year of college. Unfortunately, we technically make $170,000 a year, but a majority of it is spent on bankruptcy payments (which aren’t counted on FAFSA).</p>
