I’m applying ED to JHU with intentions to major in public health sciences and psychology. This is my top choice school and I really want to get in :slight_smile:

ACT w/ writing: 33 composite (36 english, 28 math, 31 science, 35 reading, 9 writing)
Taking SAT II’s in October, biology (m) and spanish
Weighted GPA: 4.66
Unweighted: 3.9

AP tests: Govt. and Politics (5), Lang (5), Spanish Lang (5), Biology (4)
Taken all honors course and AP courses, taking 4 AP’s senior year.
Taken chorus all four years of high school
Taking Lit, Spanish Lit, Stat, and Psychology in May 2018.

EC: President of youth group chapter, held 4 other VP board positions in past, president of high school acapella group, active in theatre at school and have done every show, member of drama club, intern at Food and Drug Administration, pageant queen and held title of Miss Baltimore and won award in talent at state competition, board member of school’s music Honor society, member of National Honor Society, Spanish Honor Society, and Thespian honor society.

Visited the school and signed up for a campus interview.

Work experience: cashier and waitress at local deli

Demographics: hispanic and jewish, live in MD

if you can get a really good score in the subject tests… I think you have a solid chance of getting in! How are your essays and recommendations?

i think my essays are strong, i wrote about unique topics that would stand out, and I’m very close with the two teachers who wrote my recommendations and the rabbi of my synagogue submitted one for me as well
