waiting on subject tests

You have a good chance on those schools. Your stats are really good. Try to get 750+ on the subject tests. Good luck!

I’d say you’re gonna get into WashU. The others are not very likely unless you’re getting recruited. You have good stats so apply to one or two of the other schools but know that they are reaches for everyone. Have you looked into some other UCs like UCSD, UCSB, UCI, and UCD?

Agree, also look for safety schools.

Yes I’ll definitely be applying to the UCs, with UCD, UCSB,etc as some of my safeties. The ones I listed are just my main target/reach schools that I’m hoping for

Also i was wondering what you meant by being recruited?

That a college wants you to play soccer for them so you get a boost in admissions. And on second thought, your chances depend on the opportunities and the weighted classes available to you. If you took the most rigorous course load at your school you might stand a chance at those schools.

virsha24 1st are you out of state(for UC,s) or in state and 2nd what’s you’re UC weighted GPA because you mentioned weighted but I’m pretty sure you didn’t mean UC weighted and UC weighted is just you’re 10th/11th grade GPA if out of state only APs count if in state you can also count UC approved honors courses which are spanish 3 honors, chemistry honors, pre calculus honors, and I think Korean 4 and 5 honors.

He wrote that he is a California resident @BucketsUCSC.

Then I’ll assume UC GPA slightly brings you’re weighted down to a 4.2 and I know for a FACT that UCLA’s average last year was a 4.3 or 4.4 and this factors in liberal arts major which typically have lower admitted GPA’s than STEM majors, so you’d probably need a 4.5 to be on point. You’re SAT score probably makes up for a slightly lower than necessary GPA

You have a great list of extracurriculars but through the experience of many of my friends I have to agree with newdavid the extra curricular a won’t do ANYTHING UNLESS unless it is extraordinary or can be continued at the university. SO ASSUMING you have a 4.2 UC weighted GPA I would chance you at slightly above 50 percent and the strength of your senior year schedule(take at least 3 ap’s) plus your subject tests can help or hurt your chances.

I don’t know much about the rest, but UCLA can be pretty iffy even for qualified candidates, so that’s a little up in the air. You definitely have a solid chance though

Hopefully I did this right. When I calculated my uc gpa it is 4.33 which is pretty much average for ucla

Your stats are good enough that you have a decent shot at any of them but are not guuaranteed any of them. Someone upstream said they thought you would get into WUSL- I think that one is very iffy as competition for admissions is as stiff if not more so than UCLA.The top tier UC’s- UCB, UCLA and UCSD have become so competitive and even UCSB, UCD, and UCI are not guaranteed. Be sure to throw at least one of the lower tier UC’s in to be safe-maybe UCSC.

Virsha are you instate because if not you can’t count any honors courses and even in state you can only count some. The average for this year was a 4.41 probably a 4.5 for pre meds but you’re sat scores give you a semi decent chance of getting in

But remember out of state is way easier than getting instate for uc’s though with your stats you’re virtually guaranteed to get in if OOS

I don’t know much about other schools but I think Wash U also looks more for OOS

I am from California so I included the max amount of honors courses for uc gpa

Are finances a concern? Just be sure to include a safety that not only is a slam-dunk for admissions, but that you can also afford. The UC’s are very stingy with money so even if you were to get a scholarship, it would probably be minimal. At almost $35,000 per year estimated cost of attendance, the UC’s are not cheap, even for in-state. Sometimes the more expensive private schools end up costing less after FA.
