What is your unweighted GPA? Weighted GPA is calculated very differently at different high schools and is very hard to interpret.

Are you domestic (US citizen or permanent resident) or international?

My unweighted GPA is 3.86
I am considered an international student but I have been going to school here since kindergarten.
I am majoring in neuroscience

I think that Johns Hopkins is a reach, but probably worth an application.

I think that you also need to be applying to safeties, and probably to match schools. If your safeties are ones that you are very happy with you might not need match schools, but you do need safeties.

What country(ies) are you a citizen or permanent resident of? Are there universities there that are worth considering?

yo me too, I am also intl even tho I’ve been here since kindergarten, I don’t know how they will view intl who studied here? How are they going to compare stats?

GPA on the lower side, but some students were admitted with 4.2-4.3. Your EC’s seem good. Hope you get in!

Any publications in STEM?

Did you get in?

omg ACTUAL Hopkins student here…
you have a shot. don’t worry about those people saying your extremely high GPA isn’t high enough. give it a chance. i love it here’s:)
