<p>You definitely have a good chance. If I were you, i’d try bring that SAT score up to a 1800+ just to be more on the safe side. I would try and maintain at least a 3.5+ gpa as well. Do some extracurriculars and I think you have a solid chance at UP.</p>
<p>Edit: Oops. Didn’t read the part where your school doesn’t have a gpa scale. I would just continue the trend you have going now because it’s solid. Try to get 4 As and 2 Bs for each semester. A few low grades are forgivable (senioritis bites you real bad later in the year).</p>
<p>I am already working on my SAT and I am already in high-1800’s range. I have also memorized dozens of vocabulary and improved my grammar. Don’t forget the fact that I am an international student attending a local high school so AP/IB courses are not only not offered but also not available in my city.
I will apply for Penn-U Park as a Early Decision. By the time I will apply I will have taken 3 SAT II’s and SAT I (hopefully, 1900+).</p>
