hey, I currently attend NJ monthly's best public and most competitive high school in New Jersey and am getting straight A- down the board in regular classes. I have an A in honors band and I have really good instrumental (trumpet) credentials. Something like 12 hours of extra curricular activities, I was in the state region band and many other selective ensembles, I play high-school lacrosse which adds about 6 hours a week to my extra-curricular activities and I scored (first time around, not definite because I'm taking it again, more prepared) 73rd percentile on the SSAT. I could easily hit 80th in the next week. I think the lacrosse and music is really going for me, especially music. Maybe not so much grades but do they look at second semester of freshman year. I'm currently a freshman applying for freshman year next year. Is this a good choice? What are my chances? This is at both Peddie School and Lawrenceville School. THANKS (p.s I got a 80% reading, 72% verbal and 58% math. I'm working on the math for when I retake, thanks.)

the answer is up in the air, you might be able to get into peddie because they are big on sports(depends on how good you are.) But your Lawrenceville chances are slight, I recently went for an interview at Lawrenceville and they said that you need at least a 81% on SSAT’s and they also expect like everything of you (sports, music, service, academics, achievements, etc.)
