Since i go to an alternative school w/out grades, it's always more difficult to try to predict my chances with college admissions. However, i do have good ECs, and decent AP and SAT scores. My essays are pretty solid as well.

these are the schools i'm not so sure about
Barnard
Wellesley
Brown/RISD
Middlebury
Smith
Mnt Holyoke
Wesleyan
Bowdoin
Cooper Union (for art)

What types of schools do kids from your HS usually end up attending? All of those schools are fairly competitive; you’ve got the SAT for all of them except for a few (I’m thinking Brown, Middlebury, maybe Bowdoin [though they’re SAT-optional, but since you don’t have grades…]), and it’s impossible for us to chance you for the Cooper Union. But assuming your school is considered reputable and colleges understand the way it works, I would guess that you’re solid for Barnard, Smith, Mt. Holyoke, possibly Wesleyan and Wellesley. I would advise that you get more safeties/matches.

I do have a number of safety schools (mostly state schools) and schools that I know for sure i could get into. The listed schools are the reach/semi-plausible ones.

The school has a pretty good rep. The students are mixed bag (eccentric genius types, slacker types) but we do send the occasional student to the ivies.

I should mention that since my school is so small, all the clubs/music/sports/AP classes are done at the big high schools that surround us, so i was competing with your “typical” hs students.
