Chance me / Match me for some IVYs and others

Those were the statements that were made to us which seemed absurd. I would not have dreamed in my wildest that a HS student would have either of those things. It was my first to go however so maybe I should not have been as shocked-I’m certainly not now. That was our experience-I should have used quotes. I will attempt to go back and edit. Thanks!
ETA: I could not edit my original post do add the quotes.

Again….I think this is a top heavy list. You have a chance of acceptance or rejection at all of them.

Please tell me you have a sure thing for admission and affordability.

My only free advice…if you have any colleges on your list that are early action (not restricted or single choice, just regular EA) apply to those EA. If you find any rolling admissions schools, apply now. You will then hopefully have an acceptance early in the game.

Also…you don’t mention budget. You probably should make sure they are affordable for your family.

ETA…I would love to know how many applicants to Hopkins have their own patents🤦🏻‍♀️

You have a very fine resume but alas the odds are stacked heavily against all those who are not hooked or the very best at something. EA at YPS would not be impossible, but RA would be nearly so. Suggest ED at one of Chicago, Duke, Penn, NW or Cornell, and ED 2 BC or BU. BU/BC are around 35-40% ED and I would put you at a target or likely at these schools. I would also put you as likely RA at GW. Good luck to you,
