Things that might get counted against me:
-NO AP's or honors so far (I'm going to try to get as many as I can for my senior year, and I might do dual enrollment).
-I've been to 2 different high schools in three years, not because of discipline problems, but because of my mom's inability to pay for Catholic school (I went to Catholic school grades 9 and 11).

Even on the off chance that you are accepted to UConn (highly unlikely), you do realize that the cost of attendance as an out of state student is $44,494. Unless you are a great rebounder, with a serious 3 point shot and can hit from half court with ease you are not going to get the money to make this a financially feasible option for your family.

I don’t know if I should go to UConn in that case. I plan to go to med school right after college, and this tuition is more than some med schools! But thanks for your answer though :D

UConn is going to be a decent reach for you especially with those SAT scores. Also your gpa wouldn’t be that bad but since you haven’t taken any AP or honors classes it will definitely hurt you. Also you are out of state which won’t affect you that much but you would have an easier time if you were in state. Like Sybbie said above oos cost of attendance is around 41-42 grand and year and you will receive zero merit aid whatsoever with your stats so would most likely have to be full pay. Also pm with the other schools on your list because I was looking at your other threads looking at Penn state and Maryland and all of these problems will still occur at those schools and it is even harder imo to get into Maryland as an oos applicant. PM me for suggestions and such.
